This series of oil-on-canvas paintings translates the webpages of London art galleries into traditional medium. Radák bases the compositions on online gallery interfaces designed for rapid, information-dense viewing—images that must instantly capture attention in a digital environment where the viewer can “move on” within seconds. By meticulously repainting these fleeting screen visuals onto canvas, she contrasts the speed and immateriality of the monitor with the slow, tactile process of traditional image-making. The works explore whether the compositional logics and visual structures emerging from early web culture can be reinterpreted within painting, turning the aesthetics of browsing and digital display into subjects of critical and material reflection.
