“Random Histories” is an interactive web project realized in the city of Zadar, Croatia, that explores the intersection of memory, history, and narrative through a series of randomly generated stories. Each story is created by combining fragments of text, images, and audio clips, offering a unique and unpredictable experience for each user. The project reflects on the nature of history as a collection of disjointed memories, highlighting how our understanding of the past is often shaped by chance and personal interpretation. Through this randomization, the project challenges conventional notions of linear historical narratives, inviting users to engage with history in a more dynamic and fragmented way.
