Vacuum Tv project was a subcultural live show that took place in the alternative nightclub Tilos az Á in Budapest from 1994 to 1997. It mixed genres such as modern cabaret, theatre, video, performance and entertainment television. Although the Vacuum TV project was not in itself linked to online presentation, its website is more than a documentation site for a Gesamtkunstkunstwerk project. Vacuum TV’s website is a specific imprint of the Internet culture of the time, mixing multimedia tools, the demand for interactivity, the documentation of performativity and creativity in the visual arts.
